Happy Trails Zoey

Gyeong of Genji's Corner came to pick up Zoey this afternoon. She will spend the night at the Park's Place, and then continue on to her new forever home tomorrow.
Already the place feels emptier, strange statement to make about a house that holds 7 people (including a 3 year old) and 2 dogs, but true none the less.
We are sorry to see Zoey go, and sorry that she will miss going to the dog park tonight. I'm sure all her new admirers will miss seeing her too.

You have to love this little guy. He figured out how to get on eye-level with the bigger dogs.

Uhg... I can't even imagine being here without the A/C!! Poor you! We kind of move from one cooled place to another (like, right now, the library!) Altho, earlier today we went to the Loudoun County Fair - wow, of all the tiny podunk fairs I've been to - and there've been lots - this was the podunkiest. Lol, my new word for the day! But, still, it was cute and we had fun. Growing up with the Los Angeles County fair sure makes all else pale in comparison! Hope you all are having some cooling moments.....

Zoey is with her new family now. What a sweet girl. I will be watching 4 greys and a whippet next week for 'vacation'. The house will feel much emptier when they leave.

Hi Alex!
I need you to send your address to me again! I have a little something to send you and I won't even begin to make excuses of why it hasn't been sent by now except I have had too much crap! Ha! I thought I had it saved....but that is the life of a blonde. Sorry!

Okay.....Alex, this happens once in awhile. A blonde can be organized sometimes. I found it your address in my email, not my unmoderated comments. So disregard all that stuff before. BTW, I was born in VA!

Have any ideas for family fun on a Saturday? We were all set to go to Virginia Beach, but found out dogs aren't allowed most areas there during the summer... and we haven't got anywhere to leave her...so I'm stumped now!
