Today marks Doug and my 21st Wedding Anniversary.
The actual "celebration" will be tomorrow when we go to Charlestown,WV for dinner, drinks, and to bet on the ponies. :-)
But of course when you are married to your best friend, every day is a celebration-
ok, enough mushy stuff --lol.
So this started me thinking,
So this started me thinking,
While most people are familiar with the 25th wedding anniversary being "silver" and the 50th being "gold",
I have to admit that I really didn't know the "traditional" gift for 21 years.
Thus I turned to my good friend Wikipedia.

:-) you know me too well!
Congrats you two! I'm looking forward to some linen in a few weeks.
Congrats to the two of you. That is fantastic. I had heard that the symbol for 21 years is "dog hair." The ancient chinese revered dog hair. You are so lucky that you have plenty of that. The symbol for 22 years is "hoover pet hair vacuum." But again, congrats!
I have an award for you on my blog.
congrats. i have wool coming up. can we have a mini-separation just to spare us that one? sure, i knit, but c'mon. wool?
in the subtropics?
i'm going to just ride on your brass. oh, i wish you a brass monkey unless a brass monkey is naughty.
