Hero says "I'm ready to go" (notice how he takes a seat?)
The hounds found MANY admirers. I think that VAGA can expect several more adoption applications coming in soon :-)
Strawberries anyone?
Sunday, we stopped by the Chantilly Petsmart (for a meet and greet??) We didn't see any other greyhounds (I don't know what happened), but the hounds still found new friends and admirers.
So off to Dog Scouts,
and lure coursing
" Hey, why did it stop?"
I Love Zoe's idea of catching the lure.

Was the lure running when the cocker bit it?! Wow, maybe someone is too smart to play the game, lol
Oddly enough, yes, the lure was running- but she would bite right through the string, which would then have to be tied back together Again, and again and again (definitely too smart to play). :-)
(I worried about her hurting her mouth- but no- she seemed to be able to bite clean through.)
Love the way Hero sits in the car. Sometimes Parker does it on the deck stairs. Must be comfortable somehow.
Looks like a great day :) I'd love to know what the dog in that last pic was thinking!
I think he must have been thinking the EXACT same thing as Will in the 7th picture. :-)
I agree, that last picture is too funny! It would be perfect on a card and would work for pretty much any occassion depending on what thoughts you put in his head :)
Looks like you had a great weekend!! Glad the cocker didn't hurt his mouth.
Hi Alex! I saw where you stopped by my blog and you left a comment. The morel-less country comment took Mom a minute before she fully "got" it but I roared! Very funny! And from the first post I looked at on your blog looks like I will be back to visit again. Good stuff!
Woofs and more-or-less slobbers,
Chester
i love the way they park their bums in the car!
