Warrenton Meet and Greet

Yesterday was our monthly VAGA Meet and Greet, right here in lovely Warrenton, Virginia :)
Ambassadogs extraordinaire : Puddin' Pop, Harper, and Hero.

Harper has a secret to share with Puddin'.

No one can resist scritchin' Puddin's belly.

No worries- even right in the middle of the aisle is just fine :)

We met up with a young fellow even bigger than my Hero

Breezer came to join the fun too. Unfortunately Genna had grabbed our OLD digital camera - the one whose auto focus doesn't work dependably anymore...
I LOVED Harper's expression in the following picture but the focus ended up being really soft, so a little "Be Funky" treatment and-

Have a GREYT week all !

Really cool pics!

I personally know Hero looks forward to the weekends and meet and greets by constantly following you around as if saying "are we going yet"

Awww! It looks like a good time was had by all! I miss Meet and Greets. Our group doesn't do them anymore.

Genna got some really cute pics of my silly little Puddin :) She's always ready for a belly rub!

Sorry - I wasn't neccessarily singling out JUST Pitbulls.... I know, I know, they can be great dogs. And I know other dog breeds can be aggressive (my husband's job takes him into peoples' yards, and he's been bitten twice; once by a Lab. So, I know. It's more the AMOUNT of times I get this look and question that gives me pause....

i'm glad the focus didn't work. that funkified version is a classic.

puddin' pop's outfit is perfect camouflage.

Hi there, This is my first time visiting and I loved the photos. I've heard a lot about the wonderful dogs that can be rescues and want to know more about Greyhounds-what they need in exercise and if there are problems when you rescue them. We live in Colorado and have only seen a couple here. I'll be back to find out more. Thanks for sharing.

Hahaha! I love his expression in that last one - and you did a great job of funkying it up!

Came over from Houndstooth's place. Nice to find another greyhound blog!
