New Hobby

Alaina attended an art camp this summer, and returned home with a pack of oil pastels and much inspiration.
Enthusiasm is contagious, so soon I was giving them a try as well.
Below are my attempts, the first based on an Edwin Cooper painting, the second based on a John Paul painting. (The mats are from Walmart ;-)

Hi Alex:

You visited my blog and commented about the baby doing projectile cheerios with the dog and being forever friends. It gave me a good laugh and I totally agreed with you. Your art work is lovely!

Kisses,
Stella and Mom

Wow - Those are great! I wish I had some type of artistic talent...but, I have none :)

Looks great! I will stick with photography. I might be able to make some respectable stick figures.

Amazing!!!!! I'm so impressed. Are you sure you didn't go to art camp too? I can't wait to see more.

Very impressive! I have no such talent, so I am in awe. :)
