A new season, a new look

Time to put a little "spring" into the ol' blog, don't you think?
Oh, it still contains plenty of "greys", but for right now, adding a few flowers seemed appropriate.
Speaking of flowers...
One of our FAVORITE flowers is back with us.
Miss Daisy is once again our house guest, through absolutely NO fault of her own (she didn't even bother those silly little kitties -though we have been told that her mere presence was traumatizing to them... )
Anyway, we are glad to have her company for a while longer, unfortunately, she STILL hates our hardwood and laminate floors :-(
Anyway here is a video I put together for her before Easter. Since she is once again available for adoption, I get to share it with you.

Awww, poor Daisy! I just love her, but I have to keep telling myself that three girls is enough! *hides eye and runs away*

Don't take it personally, Daisy. They're working hard on finding a great home for you. So just relax and enjoy your time with Hero.

How do you do the slide show.

My Whippet Merlin had an event this Monday. He went down spread eagle and started shaking really bad. I thought he may of had a stroke...

Tuesday morning I took him to the vet. Merlin has arthritis in the spine and maybe a slipped disc. The vet gave me some meds for him and if he doesn't improve in the next few days they want to xray the spine. He is having trouble with his hind legs. He cant get up on the couch or chairs and I am lifting him for that. Merlin is a rescue, so I don't know his actual age but he is about 12 years old.. Please say some prayers for him.

You do have a nice Springy look to your blog. Perfect. Sorry to hear that Daisy came back! She is a beautiful girl and will be snapped up again by a loving family who will never let her go. It is a good thing you do with helping the retired racing greyhounds. I ran the greyhound rescue in Minnesota for many, many years and had to retire recently due to health issues. I will never stop loving them. At times we had 11 in our house all beautiful...getting along so well (some were fosters). Now down to just two for the moment. :) No brindles, no females here right now...miss having them both. Daisy you will find the perfect place soon...hang in there sweetie!
